Media.net Yahoo Bing Features

Looking for a Google Adsense alternative? To be clear, I use a mix of Adsense and Yahoo! Bing Ads here on Seniorpreneur. You may already be running Google Adsense and want to test the results from Yahoo! Bing Network Contextual Ads, which is operated by Media.net.

Can I Display Google Adsense and Yahoo! Bing Ads on the Same Page

Yes you can. However, there is a caveat. You must make sure your ad styles for both programs are significantly different. This will keep you on safe ground so that your media.net ads (Yahoo! Bing) don’t violate any Adsense policies, and vice versa.

Don’t Put All Your Eggs in One Basket

I think you know what I’m getting at. If you purely focus on one ad network you could be leaving yourself vulnerable. For reasurance it’s worth testing multiple ad networks. See which one delivers the results, and if you run in to any obstactles with one of your ad networks you at least have a fall back.

How Many Media.net Ads Can I Publish?

You can place up to 3 ad tags per page on approved sites. which is very similar to Adsense.

AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for content units on one webpage. This includes a maximum of one 300×600 ad unit (or similar sized ad) per page. You may also place a maximum of three link units and two search boxes on each webpage.
